About Me
I am Neeti Prasad, and I graduated from the Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS). I am currently a freshsman at Johns Hopkins University, pursuing biomedical engineering.
I made the decision to attend DRSS because of the project-based learning (PBL) curriculum. I have observed how PBL has enhanced my learning by providing me with a hands-on approach to engage with the curriculum. In addition, our school has emphasized the importance of expressing our Five Qualities through our class projects.
The purpose of this portfolio was for me to reflect back on the school year, to see how I have grown through the projects and units that we completed over the year. Fortunately, you are only a couple of buttons away from exploring projects and extracurricular experiences that I have completed during middle and high school.
The Dayton Regional STEM School not only gave me a strong educational foundation but it also prepared me for the real world. The offered science and engineering courses showed me the potential of their combination and have inspired me to be part of global change as a future biomedical engineer.
