Communication
Communication allows us to contribute our ideas while gaining diverse perspectives. Effective communication involves two parts: passing on information while considering others' views. This quality is taught at DRSS because it is integral to develop speaking and presentation skills for any field. My experience in school presentations, science fair, robotics, etc. have allowed me to practice this skill in debt. I have practiced various types of speaking skills from presenting technical information to presenting an argument. I enjoy presenting my work and work hard to not only share my perspective, but to gain others' perspective.
I developed my fluency in the local language in Bangalore, India to be able to communicate and teach these young children the English alphabet and numbers from 1-10.
